How Eaglets came about?

Handball has always been a passion for me.

I have started playing at a very young age in Hungary, then when I moved the the US in my 20s, I competed in New York as part of the American league. When I came to the UK in 2012, I found a club in London and continued to play here. We had a very successful season in 2013 and I have played in the Euro Cup.

 

I since retired from higher level competition but continue to play at regional level. With my club West London Eagles, we won the championship in 2023/24

Now that I am a parent of three very energetic boys, I wanted to share my passion with them and other kids but I was surprised to see how difficult it was to get an opportunity for them to play.

 

I started a Mini Section at my club three years ago to coach kids from ages 5 and up and in September 2024, I created Eaglets Handball Academy Ltd to promote Handball for the upcoming generation.
